From the Mountains of Andalusia to the Threshold of Midlife.
The Journey Between Worlds
I grew up in Illinois and graduated from Arizona State University, but I spent over two decades doing what many only dream of—I moved to Southern Spain. For more than twenty years, I fully immersed myself in the culture, the food, and the rugged landscapes of Granada.
Movement has always been my language. From rock climbing and trail running to open-water swimming and biking through the stunning Sierra Nevada, I let the outdoors shape me. I didn’t just live in Spain; I absorbed its infectious energy and its belief in a life lived intentionally and joyfully.
The Modern Transition
After 25 years abroad, I returned to the Midwest to navigate a new kind of adventure: the transition of perimenopause. Processing reverse culture shock while managing the physical and emotional shifts of midlife was no small feat. It required me to integrate all the wisdom I gained in the mountains of Spain with a new, strength-focused approach to wellness.
I realized that whether you are crossing an ocean or crossing into a new chapter of womanhood, the most important journey is the one that leads you back to yourself.
My Mission: Strength and Resilience
Today, as a Certified Menopause Specialist Coach and yoga instructor, I help women navigate this same threshold. My approach is realistic, joyful, and deeply grounded in lived experience.
I design strength-focused, empowering sessions rooted in the belief that as we age, building and maintaining muscle and bone is essential—not optional. Through my wellness blog, online meetings, and curated retreats in Southern Spain, I provide a sanctuary for women to reclaim their power.
Why I’m Your Guide
I’m not just showing you a map; I’m inviting you into a landscape I know by heart. I’ve lived the “hustle” of the modern world, and I’ve found the visceral peace of the mountains.
I am here to help you bridge those two worlds—to move through midlife not by “fading,” but by reclaiming the strongest, most vital version of yourself.
Let’s discover the path forward together.
01
Light never fails us, we fail to see the light.
02
Inspiration is found through an open mind and the want or desire to look in the places noone else wants to go or see.
03
The unexamined life is not worth living, yet the unlived life is not worth examining.

You, My Friend
